Pattie Discovers the PNW…Three Peaks Kitchen & Bar

Restaurant Review by Patricia Elwing

Three Peaks Kitchen & Bar is located inside the Spokane Tribe Casino at 14300 W SR-2 Highway, Airway Heights, WA. 99001

One summer day in 2020, I was on my way to the airport when my husband and I, then fiancé, realized that Three Peaks was open and serving on the patio. We had both lived in Nevada and found some of the best restaurants were often located inside casinos. We went in for brunch and enjoyed steak and eggs, prepared as ordered, and the California Eggs Benedict, poached to perfection, with avocado and a liberal amount of Hollandaise sauce. At that time, we were the only guests on the patio and received wonderful attention and courteous friendly service.

Since then, we have returned on several occasions, always finding the staff to be welcoming. For customers, like myself, who ask questions and want suggestions and to hear what meals are popular, they are open and descriptive, clearly customer satisfaction is a priority. Our server told us that they also had a great lunch and dinner menu thanks to a really special chef on staff. Chef Blerita Kaba had left her mark in the kitchen and on the menu.

Current Chef Rick Samuels, is a Day One employee and Founder at the Spokane Tribe Casino, originally with the sister casino in Chewelah. Although he is soon to transition to yet another roll, he has streamlined the menu to focus on execution of the favorite “made to order” meals and the integrity of their sauces and recipes.

Three Peaks Dining & Bar

My favorite dinner is currently the Pan Seared Salmon, for lunch, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich or taco salad, and although I love the chicken fried steak breakfast, I was excited to try the chicken and waffles on my last visit. With daily homemade soups and a lunch special for each weekday, you can enjoy tasty lasagna or meatloaf lunch specials which are on the weekly rotation. Hungry yet?

Weekend Brunch Every Saturday & Sunday 9AM-2PM
Bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary Bar
Happy Hour 3-5PM every day, $3 off appetizers
$2 draft beers all day, every day
Music on the patio 6-9PM Fridays (seasonal)
2nd Thursday Party on the Patio w/games and pizza
Football fans enjoy pro and college games on multiple TVs

If you’ve driven by lately, you may have noticed the construction going on there and the addition being built. There are plans for additional gaming and food on the East side of the casino. I checked out their website and learned that this is “the first phase of their project which is a 145-acre mixed-use development in Airway Heights: the heart of our Spokane Tribal Aboriginal Territory. Future phases will include retail and commercial space, a hotel, an entertainment/event facility, a culture center and much more – all designed around you.”

Pattie’s Overall Review: 4.5
