Zack and I try to do one date night a week. In April, we drove to Spokane but had not picked a destination. We walked by Bistango and decided to start with a couple of drinks. We quickly got comfortable and stayed to enjoy the night.

Zack and I have been here once before for drinks. The ambiance is perfect for an intimate and romantic but fun night. The drinks are absolutely amazing, and the drink menu is so extensive.
They have a happy hour from 4-6 p.m., so we ordered drinks off that menu. I got the lemon drop and, oh my goodness, it was so good! Not only was it sweet and strong, but the bartender heated the rim of the glass and glazed it with sugar to make a caramelized rim. I was literally nibbling little candied chunks off the glass.
Zack loves huckleberry, so he immediately went for the huckleberry martini. It was sweet but not too sweet and loaded with little huckleberries.
After a few lemon drops, I was ready to switch it up, so I ordered a Brandon’s Vice. Our waiter, Brandon, actually came up with it, and it’s based on one of my favorite drinks, a Miami Vice. It was served in a fun tiki glass and made me feel like I could be sitting on a beach.
For food, we were pretty hungry, so our waiter recommended the tacos, as they had the largest portion. The chicken was tender, and the smoky, sweet, hickory barbecue sauce paired perfectly with the creamy cabbage slaw on top. The tortillas were toasted and added a yummy crunch. They came with a little side of fries.
They have a good-sized happy hour menu; if you want to try something else, they also offer a full food menu. They have everything from pub food to samosas.
The ceiling has tons of little lights that look like stars, and big bubble chandeliers hang down. The ambiance is upscale and cozy.
Whether you want to try a variety of elevated cocktails or indulge in delicious plates, Bistango will satisfy your craving.
