In an effort to help citizens recover from the recent wildfires, Stevens County would like to make people aware of some very important information. Anyone who suffered a natural resource loss, or damage due to the recent wildfires should contact the Stevens County Conservation District as soon as possible. This would include, but not be limited to: livestock, pastures, trees, erosion and fencing losses, etc.
Any damages should be reported to the Stevens County Conservation District at 509-685-0937, extension 3, within 30 days of loss. If there are questions as to whether certain damage is reportable or not, please contact the Conservation District for more information
