Hidden Gem Tucked Away in Channeled Scablands

by Cassie Nixon

For travelers on their journey to Lake Roosevelt and beyond, Harrington Hideaway RV Park is a jewel worth visiting. Clean, well maintained, and with friendly staff available at all hours, guests will be able to relax knowing that their travel needs can be met during their stay.

Harrington Hideaway RV Park is located next to Harrington Golf Course and Country Club for those who love to enjoy a beautiful and unique 9-hole green. They offer full hookups for RV’s and motorhomes and have designated areas for tent camping as well. Guests will appreciate amenities including a shower, restroom, and laundry room on site. For convenience, Harrington Hideaway RV Park also has BBQ grills for cookouts and Horseshoe Pits for entertainment.

The park is conveniently located within walking distance to 3rd street, downtown Harrington, where they can stop in at The Post and Office for a morning coffee and breakfast bowl, then meander to the Harrington Food Mart for their hot food for lunch and groceries to stock their motorhomes.

If any maintenance is needed, Harrington has a resident mechanic at Harrington Truck and Auto, which includes a small but well stocked hardware store. If some local artwork or handicrafts are appreciated, then Studio One is the place to stop.

Harrington may be a small agricultural community tucked between Highways 23 and 28, but we have a major bank right in town, a salon for haircuts, car detailing services, and a local library, open on Thursdays. Guests to the Harrington Hideaway RV Park can enjoy an extended stay if small town life turns out to be guests cup of tea, as the Park offers weekly and monthly rates.

A precursor check on reviews for the park all turn up positive. One reviewer glows: “Such a welcoming place for the weary rider! Now we know where to come back to when biking through the area. Thanks for the helpful service from such friendly hosts.” Another commends the owner: “Thanks Tim!! We had an AWESOME 2-day visit in Harrington!! The sunsets are beautiful and it’s very peaceful! Thanks again…”

For those traveling through Eastern Washington, consider stopping and resting in our peaceful and friendly community, where local folks are interested in where you from and where you are headed. We have a wealth of ideas to offer for nearby adventures or exciting stops on your journey!
