Heeling Hands Hometown Heroes

This month’s Hometown Hero is Lincoln County Fire District #4 crew located in Reardan, Washington. Heeling Hands will be in touch shortly to schedule 1 hr of chair massage (5-10 min each crew member) for the hardworking, dedicated life-saving team watching our town.

Thank you for participating to help our community know their worth!

Hello Brianna and Huckleberry Press:

Our names are Chuck Wiedmer and Andi Rettkowski.  We are the  Battalion Chief and EMS Captain for Lincoln County Fire District #4 (Reardan Station).  As it is hard for us to choose who “one person” that is deserving of this lovely and relaxing gift, We are nominating ALL of the firefighters and EMS personnel on our crew.  They are all amazing and giving people and when the call goes out, they put down their food, give their families a kiss goodbye, not knowing when they will be back.  They miss their kids, games, recitals, and other family functions to be at the call of others. They all do this with without question and even not knowing what their own fate has in store. As you can see, it is not easy for us to choose “just one”.  In small communities, it is hard for us to find these diamonds in the rough. We would like them to know how much we appreciate each and every one of them.  We would hope you would give consideration in giving them at least 5-10 minutes of your time.  We know that an hour of this time of relaxation was dedicated to one, but splitting this up and giving them the 5-10 minutes would mean the world to them.  We would like them to know how special they are to us and everyone has a gift. This is theirs. Thanks for taking the time to read and considering our Hometown Heroes.  We know they are ours!

Sincerely,

Chuck Wiedmer, Battalion Chief

& Andi Rettkowski EMS Captain
