Gina Habbestad was recognized as Citizen of the Year for 2017 by Lincoln County Sheriff Wade W. Magers. Gina is extremely dedicated and involved in the rescue of animals throughout Lincoln County and beyond. She is without a doubt one of the core reasons the Lincoln County Lost and Found Pet Network succeeds. Gina is instrumental in relocating lost dogs to their owners and she has a remarkable intuition and memory when it comes to locating and relocating animals with their owners.
Gina was given a Sheriff’s coin in recognition of all her hard work. Thank you, Gina, for the difference you make and congratulations on Citizen of the Year and for being this month’s Hometown Hero!
